There are roughly 6,000 of them (around 227 inhabited), spread across six major groups, and even the most aggressive ferry-hopping itinerary tops out at 5-6 islands in 14 days. One week realistically means Athens plus two islands. Two weeks gets you 5-6 if you plan tight ferry chains and accept some half-days lost to transit.
